Zadi is owner-operated and proudly starting small.
Right now it's beginner classes and workshops, but the dream is bigger! More makers, more collaborations, a real hot glass community in Brisbane.

FROM MURANO TO BRISBANE.
Tamasin spent three years working in Murano, Venice. Working as an apprentice and teaching classes, six days a week, inside one of the oldest glassblowing traditions in the world.
She came home with a lot of skills and one very clear idea: Brisbane should have a hot shop.
So here it is.

Zadi Studios respectfully acknowledges the Turrbal and Jagera peoples, the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our studio stands. Our studio sits in the place known today as Alderley and Enoggera - a boundary suburb whose deeper name comes from the Yuggera language: yauar-ngari, meaning corroboree ground.
We make things here. So have the Turrbal and Jagera peoples for tens of thousands of years. That this is a corroboree ground; a place of gathering, making and expression; is not lost on us. We are grateful to create here and we pay our deepest respects to Turrbal and Jagera Elders past, present and emerging.
This land was never ceded. Sovereignty was never surrendered.
